Allan Miller offers driver and supervisor training in Fatigue Management. These courses are designed to educate about the body’s response to fatigue and how to manage it.  The courses help to ensure safety and meet legal requirements.

Fatigue Management training—for drivers

We offer the Fatigue Management unit for drivers TLIF2010 Apply Fatigue Management Strategies, covering:

  • Identify and act upon signs of fatigue
  • Implement strategies to minimise fatigue

This unit is required for drivers under the BFM accreditation system, and we also cover the correct legal requirements (e.g. work diaries) in the training session.

Fatigue Management training—for supervisors

We also offer the Fatigue Management training course required for supervisors and schedulers under BFM. The course covers the unit TLIF3063 Administer the implementation of fatigue management strategies:

  • identify breaches of plans
  • ensure compliance with policy and procedures,
  • develop and implement staff training programs,
  • evaluate and improve staff implementation of strategies, to record and report on the implementation of strategies
